Expand and command your Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) by adding true tactile control via USB2.0. The QCon Pro X is a control surface designed to get you out of “the box” of your computer and into your music. Record and mix without always having to point and click. QCon Pro X puts the functions of your DAW at your fingertips by providing you with nine (9) full sized motorized faders, eight (8) rotary dual-function encoders, two (2) large backlit LCD screens, LED volume metering, a jog wheel and plenty of buttons to press. Adjust multiple volume or pan levels simultaneously. Mute or solo numerous tracks on the fly. Use the transport section to conveniently play, stop, fast forward, rewind, record, loop, zoom, punch in and punch out of your compositions. Spin the nicely sized jog wheel to scrub through tracks and address areas of special interest. Dedicated buttons also allow you to access your entire mix by banking across tracks in groups of 8 or 1 track at a time.
CONTROL ANY DAW
QCon Pro X is a powerful control surface for any DAW. Integration is facilitated using Mackie Control or HUI protocol to interface with your DAW’s functions. We offer support for the most popular DAWs including Cubase, Nuendo, Ableton Live, ProTools, Logic, Reason, Studio One, Bitwig, Samplitude, Reaper, FL Studio, Harrison Mixbus, Digital Performer and Audition. And if you don’t already have a DAW, no worries. Bitwig Studio 8-Track is included. Once QCon Pro X is linked to your DAW, then it will always boot up in the proper configuration; even after being powered off. Even if your DAW is not supported by a custom module, then you can still map its functions to QCon Pro X using our intuitive MIDI learn mode.
CONTROL YOUR PLUGINS AND AUTOMATION TOO
QCon Pro X also gives you tactile control of your VST, RTAS, Direct X and AU Plugins. Dial in EQ frequencies, Q or gain with the rotary encoders. The values of different parameters are shown on the upper LCD screen. Control Virtual Instruments as well. There’s also a “FLIP” button for fader control of plug-in parameters. Automation of track and plugin parameters is also made easy with QCon Pro X. Write fader rides just like you would on any large format analog console using buttons for familiar functions like GROUP, WRITE, TOUCH, LATCH and TRIM. QCon Pro X is also scalable. Expand in groups of 8 up to 64 channels depending on your DAW, so you can create a custom surface to fit your needs. With the QCon Pro X you get the best of both worlds; the total recall, power and flexibility of your DAW with the look, feel and functionality of a sturdy piece of hardware.

*KNOWN ISSUES Some DAWs limit the number of extenders that work with their software. The following list includes the maximum number of extenders you can use with the specified DAW.
*1 main unit + 7 extenders = 64 channels – Cubase/Nuendo, Studio One, Digital Performer, Logic Pro X, Mixbus
*1 main unit + 5 extenders = 48 channels – Ableton Live
*1 main unit + 3 extenders = 32 channels – Pro Tools, Bitwig, Reaper
*1 main unit + 2 extenders = 24 channels – Reason (with Custom Script)
*1 main unit + 1 extender = 16 channels – Cakewalk/Sonar, Samplitude
*FL Studio does not support extenders
LIMITED COMPATIBILITY WITH APPLE’S M1, M1 MAX, M1 PRO, M1 ULTRA AND M2 PROCESSORS Further testing has shown that the QCon Pro X is not consistently compatible with Apple’s Silicon processors. While an update to firmware version 2.08 or later seems to work for some users, the controller tends to freeze during normal use for others. We have determined that the problem is the USB hub on the back of the QCon Pro X. Some users have corrected this by using a powered Thunderbolt hub, and others have had success with iCON’s OneHub.
In our testing, we have found our new hub, the CH-1, works consistently with Apple Silicon computers. If you would like, you can order a CH-1 USB hub direct from our factory in Guangzhou while supplies last at the link below.
(Firmware is recognized on M1 Max, M1 Pro, M1 Ultra, M2, M3 and AMD CPUs, however, you can only use Intel or M1 CPU to perform firmware update procedure)
